About me
My name is Brian Heeren. I am 25 years old and born in The Hague, The Netherlands. Some people may already know me from Instagram. Since 2018 I started photographing and using Instagram as a sharing platform.
My big passion is biking around! I've been doing this since 2017! I started on a Harley-Davidson 883 sportster. This was an awesome bike! Unfortunately I had to sell this bike because I had some problems with the A2 driver's license law. I had an A2 driver's license. The bike had been reduced in power, but this was not known to the authorities. So a lot of nagging! Time to sell the Harley!
After this I bought a Kawasaki Z800! This was actually my first sporty ( naked ) bike! I also bought a motor scooter for the easy city rides. This was a Vespa GTS 300. Unfortunately the Vespa was stolen after 2 months. I thought, let's buy a nice old-fashioned bike for the city rides instead of the Vespa. After all, this one is much less likely to be stolen. I bought a Honda CB 500 from '82 ! Just for fun!
After about 1 year I sold the Z800 and the CB500. I had to ride a lot of miles for work! I decided to buy a Kawasaki Versys 650! I have had this bike for almost 1 year. After 1 year and 32,000 kilometers I sold the bike! I was working closer to home again so I no longer needed a touring bike.
I bought a 2014 Triumph Street Triple S. The 675 cc engine, and a 3-cylinder, where completely new to me. From the moment I took the Triumph for a test ride I fell in love. What a cool experience to ride a 3-cylinder bike! I owned this bike for just one year. Wanna know why? Because of the ‘ All New Street Triple ’. The renewed headlights, engine and looks left me no choice. I WANT THIS BIKE!
After two years of riding the new street triple, I was ready for something new. Not just something new, but a new challenge. I had been thinking for a long time to buy a bike with which I could also go off-road with, because this segment and the adventures really appealed to me.
I decided to buy a Yamaha Tenere 700 and trade my street triple for it. Of course this hurted a lot, but it will also bring a lot of new and beautiful moments! This year, 2022, will be all about adventure, off-road riding and a lot of learning. Of course I will continue to combine my passion for photography with motorcycling. Will you follow my adventures?
